AOS Approval

I got my letter of approval today, my AOS took 6 months and 5 days and an interview was not requested. Is that normal ? is that unusually fast ?

I only got my EAD last week. Does that mean i dont need to reapply for an EAD after 1 year anymore ? can i get a passport or do i need to be a citizen.. oh and one more question, can i enter the airport at the residents queue or do i still have to queue in the loooong immigration queue ?

Six months isn't all that bad. Ours took 9 months, another couple we know waited 15 months. Some on here are still waiting two years later. Now you can relax a bit, until it's time to lift conditions! No EAD is needed at this point, now that you're approved. Your green card eliminates the need for EAD. You need to be a US Citizen to obtain a US passport so you will continue to renew your passport from the country you're from. As for the airport line...I'm not sure. I would assume you would enter the resident's line. You would have to show them your green card to prove residency, along with your passport. Hope that covered all your questions.
