Hey, so basically we had an F4 visa application, paid all the tests, did the medical exams,  but my dad had to do some extra medical tests which resulted in his interview being scheduled after ours. After he finished his interview, the next day, he was called by the embassy and they said to him that there are no visa numbers available currently. Apparently, there was a regression in the visa bulletin dates which removed the availability of any visa number. They told him to check with them next month, but the embassy closed. Now we are all residents, except him. My mom is waiting by him in our home country, but we have no idea what to do from here. Who should I call? I'm freaking out. I don't want my mom to stay too much outside the country not to risk abandonment of her GC. Now there's the trump ban, which bans issuance of F4. And the visa bulletin still isn't current for his priority date. I might not be able to do anything to speed up the process, but is there anyone I can call to know what I should do next? How is he supposed to send new documents, do new medicals, etc..?

If I can expedite the process, who should I call? Perhaps a parole request, or should I not even try? Our home country (Lebanon) is experiencing a lot of inflation and the situation there is deteriorating quickly.

Hi,

Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do.

Your father will have to wait for the ban to be over and the Priority Date to be current.  He will need a new medical, new DS-260, new I-864, new DS-5540, etc.

Sorry.

Ok, but do you know how I am supposed to send them?

The same way it was done the first time, CEAC.  Wait until it's asked for.  Again, there is nothing you can do except wait.

Your mother needs to make sure she doesn't stay out of the US too long as she will risk losing her GC.

Yeah, she is coming to file a re entry permit. She hasn't been out for 6 months, so she should be safe.

I thought re-entry permits needed to be filed from within the US?

It does. I read this to indicate that she will be returning to the US after less than a 6 month absence and applying for a reentry  permit once she is here
