If you applied within Turkey your application is almost near to be reviewed

because they're working on those who filed from Ankara embassy, so they already know you are a resident.

My case so do many others, is different because we filed from different countries ( my case was filed in Iraq) then transferred to Ankara because US embassy in Baghdad was closed. You guys have the highest priority so no worries. I know a friend who lives in Turkey was DQ'd on may 17th 2020 and just got his IR1 visa  interview schedule for next month Feb 2021

They are working on those who filed before you so just wait. wish you the best.

thank you so much i wish the best for you too just i was worried because already 6 months since i got my DQ now :(

I just have found out that the US embassy in Ankara started processing K1 visa (my application was sitting there since July 2020) so I scheduled an appointment (through a link on their website) and went to my interview, that simple

Hi, I had to wait for him to answer me, so he was DQ'd on 05/17/2020 and received an email on 1/13/2021 scheduling his Interview appointment on 02/06/2021

he's An Iraqi citizen living in Turkey since 2016 so he's a resident filing for himself to Join his wife here in US . Are you Turkey resident or were you transferred from different embassy?

I'm in the same boat as you, I have submitted my residency renewal application and haven't heard back from them.  I went to my embassy interview (Jan 14) and haven't had any issue.

Hello,

Would you please inform us the date of receiving your DQ?

Many Thanks,

Hello,

I just wanted to ask about your friend interview, how was it? I hope he got approved, also I was wondering how he could go to the embassy while there is a general shutdown every weekend because of COVID-19.

Also, it would be great if you can ask him about medical exam, where did get it done, or it was not required?
