I just sat on hold with NVC for 40 minutes and finally got through to someone! Yes it happened! Only to be told sorry my system is down and I can’t access your case. Not perturbed by this information, I raised the problem of not being able to complete the DS-260 on CEAC and it appears as was confirmed by the NVC rep, that the system is Internet Explorer ONLY! So as a Mac user, this is why it won’t accept the entries. Speechless!

The current version of Safari (Version 13.1.1 (15609.2.9.1.2), included with macOS Cataline Version 10.15.5) only lists Microsoft Edge (least as the only Microsoft browser).  Though offers a place to put a custom user agent.

btw, that is via the Develop -> User Agent menu.
