Still waiting... Finally on the processing times page, the "Receipt date for case inquiry" has gone to May 10, 2020, and our receipt date for I-485 was May 5, 2020; so we've submitted an inquiry about a case "outside normal processing time". And now the wait for the reply to that request begins.

At this rate my EAD will expire (in four months) before I get my permanent residency...

I’m also a may filer, no interview in sight!

I’ve got a friend that is a December 2019 and same boat, he already renewed his EAD, and I guess now they at least last 2 years haha.

Yeah, might as well file for an EAD renewal now. Mine was only a year - April 2021-2022. Once I receive the renewal application receipt, that should also automatically extend the EAD for 180 days, so October 2022.

Hopefully my green card gets here before then, but at this pace who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Hi,

i hope you can see some movement soon.. maybe you can also try using the ombudsman?
I also raised service request but my case is now « ready to be scheduled » since November 9th.

We had our interview on April 26th!  I didn't know this, but they supposedly no longer approve during the interview, nor do they give out I-551 Stamps right then and there.
Next day we got on the my.uscis.gov website that we have gotten approved and that the green card was ordered.
