Still waiting on the biometrics appointment... Our ASC has been open since July 20 (78 days ago!), and still no notice in the mail. Filed on May 3 and NOA received May 12.

Can I get my EAD before biometrics - are biometrics required for the I-485 or for the I-765 application? It's been almost five months now since we filed.

You need to have biometrics before your EAD is issued.

Same here. Is San Antonio your local ASC? I'm supposed to do my biometrics in austin (whenever that'll be) but the green card interview should be in san antonio as well.

Same situation. Biometrics ASC likely in Austin; interview likely in San Antonio. When did y'all file?

So we're on the same boat apparently (the slow one). Our priority date is may 4th and I see you sent it the 4th too. Hopefully they get to us soon.

We filed our AOS in may our adjustment of status and ead NOA1 is dated for may 18th, Many calls with no answers. My husbands father had a stroke a few days ago, we put in a request to expedite so he can go be with his family. That being said it is so frustrating that they cant respond to any of our numerous inquiries but they had no issues denying his expedite request the same day we submitted it due to that not being a good enough reason to expedite. He cant even work yet to send home money to help. I know i was born here but this country sucks. Its like no one and nothing matters to them.

Any more updates from May filers? We still haven't even got our biometrics appointment for the Austin, TX ASC... We've submitted an official case inquiry because at this point our I-765 is "outside normal processing time" but no response yet. Other May filers can do the same here, the receipt date for case inquiry is now May 23 so most of you should be eligible: e-Request - Outside Normal Processing Time (uscis.gov)
