Hello

Can someone help me how they have obtained the correct document for the certified criminal record check under privacy act from rcmp Canada  which must include the wording Rcmp National Repository entire holdings. What instructions should we give to the person who is applying ?

Asking in the Canada forum might be better.  I watched a youtube video from Far Out No Doubt,  who went thru this CR1/IR1 process from Canada.  She has a video on this very subject.

In her video she says you need to do to your "LOCAL RCMP or COMMISSIONARIES"

"OR ANY 3RD PARTY THAT IS RCMO CERTIFIED - NOT LOCAL POLICE!"

from there you can request the "CERTIFIED CRIMINAL RECORD CHECK UNDER THE PRIVACY ACT" with "RCMP National Repository Holdings".

Which is asks for Privacy Act Request Type:  select "Other (Provide Details)".   She ended up going to a Commissionaries, as the RCMP did not know the right things do do,  note this video from was Jan 12, 2020)
