Hi everyone!

I’m confused about I-134 and need clarification.

My lawyer submitted the I-134 along with the I-129F petition and said that I don’t need to bring it to the interview. Is that right because I had read posts online and it said AOS is needed at interview. With that said, do I need to redo a new one or can I ask to get a copy of the one that was already sent?

June 13, 2018 Mary receives Mexican Residency Card

June 15, 2018  I-130 DCF Appointment in Juarez  -  June 18, 2018  Approval E-Mail

August 2, 2018 Case Complete At Consulate

September 25, 2018 Interview in CDJ and Approved!

October 7, 2018 In the USA

October 27, 2018 Green Card received 

October 29, 2018 Applied for Social Security Card - November 5, 2018 Social Security Card received

November 6th, 2018 State ID Card Received, Applied for Global Entry - Feb 8,2019 Approved.

July 14, 2020 Removal of Conditions submitted by mail  July 12, 2021 Biometrics Completed

August 6, 2021 N-400 submitted by mail

September 7, 2021 I-751 Interview, Sept 8 Approved and Card Being Produced

October 21, 2021 N-400 Biometrics Completed  

November 30,2021  Interview, Approval and Oath

December 10, 2021 US Passport Issued

August 12, 2022 PHL Dual Nationality Re-established & Passport Approved 

April 6,2023 Legally Separated - Oh well

Your lawyer should be fired. I-134 is to take to the interview with current information, they will send you a list what to bring to interview.

The I-129F does not request an I-134. The lawyer was just flat out wrong...although I wouldn't be surprised if he included it as a way to inflate his fee.

An I-134 from likely many months ago (and pre-COVID) has no value now. It's unlikely they would even look at it even if it wasn't that old.

Provide an updated I-134 for the interview.,
