As apparently weird as the guy is, all the left can do is gaslight a guy who doesn't behave as the skin color they claim ownership over is supposed to act, jay kay jay kay nudge nudge.

Herschel Walker is from my hometown and is very vocal conservative and strongly disagrees with the hobbled black narrative . He has been very sternly deblacked by so may we grew up with

No, I don't really care what the color of his skin is. I'm simply pointing out (as I do regularly) that Kanye is mentally unwell and frequently doesn't take his medication. I hope whichever of his personalities, and whatever color they are, made a wise financial decision in obtaining government bailouts. It would be better if his family and his handlers actually got him the help he needs, but whatever works.

I have a friend with bipolar type II. Getting medicated seriously changed her life for the better, and she is grateful every single day for the people who got her to the psychiatrist. It wasn't easy and took a long time but she is herself, made better. I feel pity for Kanye, who seems to have people around him who aren't able to say, "You need help and we are committed to getting you help."

I dont even have to Google to know what a warm steaming pile of political hit job fake news that is.

Not one of those even cracks the top 20

What would crack your top 20 then?

Indeed... and that's why I get troubled when people try to utilize his varying 'opinions' on subjects as if it's his true thoughts and that they should hold some important weight in a political spectrum. One day he says something on one 'side' and the next he's on the other. Whether it's intentional due to his 'performance artist' stuff, or the mental illness, we can never be sure. I know people with mental illness myself, and it can be a painful battle to see them struggle, stay supportive, and also not let the.. at times, unstable and hurtful things they say get to you - especially when you are aware they aren't taking the medication.

To the topic: a lot of local news around here are doing investigations as to whom managed to wrestle money while the little guy got nothing. I'm sure each state will be featuring something.

Are you privy to his medical information that would result in the conclusion that his beliefs aren't his own "true thoughts"?

Also, it might come as a shocker that people can rationally hold views of both "sides" on subjects, though, no examples were offered.

When I read things like this, it just makes me feel sad, though of course Kim K can't speak for her husband. :(

Quote

Kim also mentions that Yeezy wants to be a trailblazer in being a public figure living a normal life with mental illness while not relying on medication. "For him, being on medication is not really an option, because it just changes who he is," Kardashian said of her husband. "Traveling a lot does set it off, so he doesn’t travel as much as he used to. But honestly, I never want to speak for him, because I am not in his mind."

Of course it is up to a person to decide for himself or herself whether to take medication, it's just..... I have heard the "meds will change me" defense too many times. I worry about the effects on his kids, too. Having a mentally ill parent can be devastating. This isn't concern trolling, it's genuinely felt sadness for him and his family. I don't have a lot of sympathy for the Kardashians, but I do for those kids. They didn't ask to be brought into any of this.

To add to VOR... a taste of notables that missed the "conspicuous" list, not the slightest clue how!:

Robert De Niro’s Nobu Restaurants and Hotels Took 14 PPP Loans Worth $28 Million

https://www.breitbart.com/entertainment/2020/07/06/robert-de-niro-nobu-restaurants-and-hotels-took-14-ppp-loans-worth-28-million/

Francis Ford Coppola Presents (resort hotels, wineries, etc.) - 5 to 10 million -- strange that the company Nunes has a stake in made the list with 1 to 2 million but a far larger sum didn't? 🤡

P.Diddy's TV station Revolt got 1 to 2 million

Common Sense Media - 2 to 5 million - Tom Steyer's rich brother

Digital Domain 3.0 -  2 to 5 million - James Cameron company

Jim Henson Co. - 2 to 5 million

Media Matters - 1 to 2 million - Soros propaganda

Wasn't so hard to find those, was it? :P

You can slice and dice the names and numbers however you wish to suit whatever narrative you want. You guys did it too, so... ?

Also "conspicuous" can mean all sorts of things, not just amount loaned or market cap. It was a tiny listicle that popped up when I was browsing r/politics and I thought it was mildly amusing.

They do change people. I was on Ritalin as a child and was taken off because of it turning me into a zombie. Drugs that alter brain development are nothing to screw with for the much less important behavior therapy.

OTOH, I notice his wife has the decency not to pretend like she can tell what he's thinking.

Narrative was clearly the point of the article, but I'm holding back laughing figuring out why, especially at the Ayn Rand reference.

And I'm not sure why, clearly people are taking loans all across the spectrum. What's the point of the naming and shaming at all? The government shut things down, it has an obligation to help people it hurt, and there's no shame in taking it, especially since its a "loan" and not free money.

Yeah, it pretty much falls into the same category as your typical "toxic masculinity" topics.

Not really -- I think there's also a bigger topic here that we haven't talked about that much: was the PPP effective in getting relief to small- to medium-sized businesses in order to prevent laying off staff during a global crisis? Did money get to the people and businesses who needed it most? Was it right for large corporations with substantial resources to benefit -- either at all, or before other, smaller businesses? What can be learned from how it was handled?

We could also talk about those too. :)

I don't know what the cutoff was for the small business qualification, but it's clear that the intent was lost.
