You'd think it's a joke but after a reality star became president everything is possible. 

 

Ayn Rand institute using government money is the peak of irony. It would be funny if it wasn't sad. I'm actually mad that legit businesses were shut down forever because the government failed to help them but those leaches got money they didn't need.

I see some attempted cleverness backfires with even a small amount of thinking beyond the superficiality of titles/identity.

 

I can't speak for the rest, because I'm not aware of "business" circumstances surrounding their companies, but these nonprofit institutes took "government money" because the "government" caused them financial distress. 

 

If one is upset because they felt more "legit businesses" (whatever that means) should've gotten loans, and we're talking government money that's dished out via legislation, it sounds like an issue to take up with the people writing legislation rather than those seeking redress against the very people that caused them harm. If there was an ounce of rationality to this, those wouldn't be there. 

 

Also, after looking at other "businesses" on the list, why they have the wineries on that list is likely just to target Nunes, I have family in the wine business, the losses the government caused there is astronomical. So no business that intended to survive would sit there and take those kind of losses without compensation from the people that directly harmed them.

So somebody cherry picked 6 right leaning businesses or organizations and singled them out as the top 6 most conspicuous businesses that got loans. WOOOOOOOO HOOO whopty doo.

No, I don't really care what the color of his skin is. I'm simply pointing out (as I do regularly) that Kanye is mentally unwell and frequently doesn't take his medication. I hope whichever of his personalities, and whatever color they are, made a wise financial decision in obtaining government bailouts. It would be better if his family and his handlers actually got him the help he needs, but whatever works.

   I'm pretty sure he's still black. Regardless of color, he's a space cadet. Seems like it would be more racist to hold back an insult just because of someone's skin color.

It was more along the lines of a joke, rather than an insult... just like everyone tends to do here these days.   He's talented. He just needs help, and not in the form of a bailout.

Dont necessarily disagree with you but I think so much of the race problem is political driven. Remember when Kanye pulled that stunt at the Grammy awards and was vilified by conservatives who were all accused of being racist by the woke community. 

Now that he is a conservative. he is the darling of the right and is now proclaimed a mentally unstable Tom by the woke crowd. Funny how it flopped so quick.

Much how quickly Trump became a racist, despite years of praise and acceptance by black leaders, once he became president.

I can't say *what* his politics are though, and I don't think anyone else can say that for sure. And I'm not sure that I should care what they are? He's a celebrity just like any other. He is also unwell, and that often makes him unreliable in his statements and decision making. He once said that GWB hated black people.
