Hey everyone. I’ve filed ever since nov 2019 and haven’t heard anything. I only received the first letter in the mail saying they have received it but mother after. Is there anything I should do? Is it normal to take this long? How can I file for an expedite process? Am I eligible to file for it?
any answers would really help me.

Looks like you are still within current average times for Nebraska.

I doubt that they will even entertain a case inquiry, let alone an expedite, at this stage. It depends on your circumstances whether you are eligible for an expedite. You don’t get one just because you have been waiting longer than you anticipated. Military personnel sometimes qualify for an expedite if they are to be deployed soon. And there are a few humanitarian reasons for expedites.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

It’s just I was seeing others get approved a lot faster and in a shorter time frame I thought I might not be doing everything I can

That happens all the time. I was the second last to be approved in my VJ filers group (February 2006). Some were approved in as little as 30 days. I waited almost 6 months. That’s how much of a variance there can be. It’s frustrating but there’s nothing we can do about it.

Well, you not the only one feeling that way, lots of March and April 2019 barely got approved and some are still waiting hopelessly. You can try to send an expedite as the worst thing is the request will get deny and be aware that it could take longer if USCIS start to furlough their employees.
