We already have an interview date for our petition at the consulate...and now CSC catches up?! :wacko:

Lets hope the paper NOA2 comes in a few days also.

Just noticed that you have the same interview date as us. Ours will be in Bangkok, Thailand and yours in Hungary. Probably Budapest. Worlds apart but with the same hopes and dreams, and the same journey. Small world. Congrats and good luck. Ken and Mintra.

So how did you actually find out you were approved if you never received an email or hard copy of your NOA2?

My Timeline

K-1 Process:

3/30/07 - NOA 1

6/25/07 - NOA 2

8/30/07 - Interview

9/13/07 - US arrival date

AOS Process:

10/5/07 - Married

10/19/07 - AOS application sent (I-485, I-131, I-765)

3/7/08 - Interview - APPROVED

3/17/08 - Greencard arrives

Removal of Conditions:

01/12/10 - Removal of Conditions package sent

01/19/10 - NOA 1

02/11/10 - Biometrics

03/16/10 - Approved

So how did you actually find out you were approved if you never received an email or hard copy of your NOA2?

My "last updated date" did change online....but no e-mail notification of approval came...so I called CSC, went through the prompts to inquire about receiving an RFE, as I was worried that is why I got the touches. When I spoke w/ someone, I was informed that the touch was the approval. From then on it was waiting 2 weeks, calling NVC and we were on the way. :dance::)

Haha, they did that to us last week... We got the paper copy in the mail monday I think (maybe Tues).

AOS

Mailed AOS, EAD and AP Sept 11 '07

Recieved NOA1's for all Sept 23 or 24 '07

Bio appt. Oct. 24 '07

EAD/AP approved Nov 26 '07

Got the AP Dec. 3 '07

AOS interview Feb 7th (5 days after the 1 year anniversary of our K1 NOA1!

Stuck in FBI name checks...

Got the GC July '08

03/29/2007 Got letter from USCIS to provide evidence that our marriage is bona fide

04/02/2007 Sent to USCIS lots of evidence

05/03/2007 I have an unofficial "PETITION APPROVED" ...waiting for confirmation from Consulate

05/07/2007 Received email from USCIS ROME confirming that our petition was approved (why Rome? because we complained to the District Office Rome about the Sub-Office Frankfurt..it took too long for our petition to be approved)...now waiting for the interview letter from the Consulate

05/18/2007 E-mail from IV Frankfurt, our interview was scheduled for May 29th

05/19/2007 Packet 4 in the mail: ja ja ja interview letter

05/29/2007 Interview at 7.30 a.m. APPROVED Thank you, God!

06/01/2007 Visa arrived !

06/03/2007 Mayday on the plane POE Cincinnati

Living in Maryland

06/21/2007 Welcome Notice from USCIS

06/29/2007 Applied for SSN at the local Office

07/07/2007 Green Card arrived

07/09/2007 Another 2 Welcome Letters from USCIS...God, they really love me! :D

07/20/2007 Social Security Card arrived

Just received paper NOA2 in the mail. All is good, I can breathe now, because we'll have it for AOS, down the road. :) Good luck to all approved and still waiting for the paper copy.
