Hey, Don't worry. My NOA1 was delivered 23 days after delivery. I have read on Reddit some people are getting NOA1 texts 50 days from delivery and get NOA's in mail a week after that. I hope you see some movement next week.

Thank you for that! Hopefully. It’s just the checks not being cashed is what’s worrying me. Fingers and toes crossed we see movement!!

Hi guys, I have a questions about the filing fees. I read on here that it is 1,225$ for the AOS. However, I saw that some of the forms have other fees, such as I 765  410$ and I 131 575$. Now I’m confused, I tried to call the USCIS again last week, but didn’t get to talk to an agent. Thank you for your help!!

They are free for AOS applicants that pay the full AOS fee: "If you properly file Form I-485 and pay the required fees, you may file Form I-765 and Form I-131 without paying additional fees. You may file these forms together, or if you choose to file Form I-765 or Form I-131 separately, you must also submit a copy of your I-797C, Notice of Action, receipt as evidence that you filed and paid for Form I-485." https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/forms/i-485instr-pc.pdf Page 18

For Form I-765, the correct category is "(c)(9)( )"

Another question... do you need to get an equivalence report for your degree (s)? My friend send me this and said I’d probably need to get an equivalent report, even though my bachelors degree is in English!

In the March thread someone just sent in the transcripts and diplomas, etc. without issues:

That page isn't from the government. It's from the evaluation company.

my spouse and i applied under a k1 visa

our application was sent back with the statement that we were supposed to include a I-944 and/or the i-864/i-864 ez

we included both of these things in our original package though.

should have only included 1 (the I-864)?

or perhaps because we put things in the wrong order. its so vague haha. did any one else get this before?

(Rejection notice here)

We got the same phrasing in our rejection notice. We used (by accident) an outdated version of the I-864 form.

Page 11 on the i944 instructions state “Foreign education should include an evaluation of equivalency to education or degrees acquired at accredited colleges, universities, or educational institutions in the United States. For a list of organizations that provide equivalency evaluation, see the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES), at http://www.naces.org/members.htm.”

Some people on here have just sent in their diplomas, degrees, and transcripts. I guess if you’re willing to take that risk and save yourself a few hundred bucks then go for it and not include one. But to me, the instructions are pretty straight forward in regards to an equivalency evaluation. We are just waiting for my husband’s evaluation to come in the mail so we can turn in his application, then we will (hopefully) be joining the July thread.
