It was incredibly straight forward! He went through the application with us, was thankful for our photos and just asked some basic questions!

Where did you meet?

Did you start dating immediately?

Did you go on a honeymoon?

Did you do any travels together?

Have you met her family?

What qualities do you like about your spouse?

Who does most of the cooking?

Where did you get married?

Who was at the wedding?

Oh I see, thank you!! And congratulations again 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Just want to make sure, the medical form should be valid for 2 years right?

My case is "ready to be interviewed" so I want to start getting the medical done. Thanks guys.

And congrats @Sinead91

Yup 2 years. It's probably safe to start your medical soon, unless you have most of the vaccines already , then you can wait for an interview notice.

Hi guys, I just got my approval notice for i765 and i131, i765 already changed to new card is being produced. I am a little confused because I have my biometrics for i131 in two weeks. Should I call them or is this normal?? I already had biometrics for Code 3

Some have reported that when they arrived at the biometrics after the cases were approved they were told that the appointment is no longer necessary:

I guess my best bet is to call my local office or USCIS office? If that wont help ill just go to the appointment its only 8mins away from my house.

I would say just go to the appointment, especially if it's that close to home.

USCIS just updated their processing times for i-765 (EAD) at NBC:

Seems like anything under 11.5 months (!) is considered normal processing time. This is crazy 😑

I am so glad someone else saw this too! I noticed it yesterday and I feel like last week it was only 8.5 months.  And the fact I just wrote "only 8.5" months has me rolling my eyes 😂....😪

Check out the Advanced Parole though.  It's September 2020, so currently anyone who submitted in July 2020 can submit an out of processing time request.

I did submit an inquiry for my AP. They said to expect a response 10 days ago and still haven't heard back.

I'm gonna guess they don't have time for inquiries. I was supposed to get a response on Feb 9th and I haven't heard anything... Fingers crossed I'm wrong
