Has anyone had success in getting touch with USCIS? I could not even talk to Tier 1 agent via Emma or phone call. I am still waiting on my Biometrics appointment. Can you please guide me with the same?

If you're going to call, I suggest you do it at 8AM EST when they have just opened. I always call them at around that time and longest wait time was 10-15 minutes. Same with Emma. The earlier you chat them, the sooner you get a live agent.

Hi all. I got my case updated to Ready to be Scheduled for an Interview. Does this means I’m RFE free for now?

Wow! I think we have similar timeline. I got my bio appointment few days after yours. Got ead and ssn few days after yours. Now i saw your update and decided to check my status, it has changed to “Ready For Interview”. I guess i just have to follow your timeline. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Hi, I'm based in New York and have not received anything yet. Filed Jul 9th...

Besides the I-693 reminder, it was complete silence for 4 months.

Thanks @kksy !! Hope we will get our biometric appointments soon :)

I received one RFE back on august and no more since then! My case is showing the same.

when your AP and work permit were approved did you received a text message , email  Or just show up on your mail? I called today and they said my expedited request was approved and it was ready to be adjudicate” . So i dont know how long it could be for my combo card from now, also if you file 765 & 131together do they always approved both at the same time? Or they might send whatever is approved first?. I really need my AP but the 765 appears to be moving faster

thoughts anyone?

When mine were approved I didn’t receive  a text. I have the USCIS case status app and that updated.

I actually received myNOA for my combo card after I had already got it 😂

I would assume that they are usually approved together and you get the combo card unless there was an rfe for either :)

Awesome thanks! I just find weird that my case is ready for interview and i don't even have a parole or work permit. Might be that i switched from CR1 with an i130 approved already to AOS

It may not be so uncommon! Another poster here @Bailamost also experienced this :)

Hello everyone, I have filed my i485, i131 and i765, my i130 was approved back in May I was initially going with CR1 process but due to COVID and error in filling we have filed for i485 (that was the error that was on the case, we filed for i485 instead of CR1 NVC route) I came to USA in March just to visit my husband but due to COVID and change in our case USCIS has advised us just to stick to filling for Adjustment of Status. My i485 case is currently on "Fingerprint Fee was Received" and suddenly my i130 case was reopened, does anyone have any idea why?? Thanks in advance.

Hi @Magda M i did the exactly same thing on those same dates! What my lawyer did was to file a i-824 so USCIS can transfer back to them the already approved i 130 from the department of state , i know you might think  ( if uscis received your 485 why they will continue working on your i130 as consular processing) , But it is what it is, so i strongly recommend you dig some info about it, the from has a fee around 500$ hopefully it prices did not raised last month.

good luck

I submit a service request today due to not receiving biometrics yet thru emma and they gave me a reference # for the service request. Is there a website I can use to check this ref #?

Yes. On the case tracker app create a case tracker account and use it to retrieve your cases. This way service requests will show up :)

Thanks JW. The service request ref is a little bit different. It starts with T1S and then number and then MSC.

I tried to put it the case tracker app but it said error

T 1 S X X X X  X X X X X X M S C

Yes I had the same problem.

if you have the case tracker app go to the little plus in the top right corner to add a case. Then go “import from USCIS” it will make you sign in or create an account. Once you have done that, click import cases. Then you can open your case (485/765/131 etc) and will at the bottom see the status of your service requests :)
