Yeah I have exactly the same problem as you. I too chatted with Emma and same thing, not assigned despite almost a month old.

I'm pretty sure I have everything except for the evidence on education equivalency for her degree. If you have an account for https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do and add your receipt numbers, the case history will show the progress of your service request. Before this, my service request was still under Next Steps and it says it was unassigned. I created a separate service request for my I765 and I131 and those 2 were not updated.  After reading people's posts that they've waited for the 30 days and nothing has happened, I just decided to go and ask for a Tier 2 agent. I've read some people say that they never got a call back but they got their biometric appointment anyway. So I'm hoping that they at least schedule it. 

 

 

This is my 131 status. The previous one (i485) was the request made by their agent.

I think there are days when I guess they're overwhelmed that they just won't let you speak to a real person. There was one time Emma won't even put me in the queue for a live chat. You will just have to call back or try again.

Yeah I know they are very overwhelmed but that's what they signed up for lol. I will try again a different day. I just want to make sure I sent them everything this time, so we want get another RFE.

Thank you! That worked for me! I realised I have a myuscis account but not a case status account so creating one added the requests!

No. RFE can be issued at any time before final I-485 adjudication.

Sent my application July 22 then biometrics on Oct 23.

Congrats on everyone's progress! I have been following this thread but we have had no movement on my husband's cases.  We submitted the service requests but no movement on that either and they aren't even listed on the USCIS website's case status. 

 

I was wondering if anyone on here is in New Jersey?  Just trying to get an idea if they have started Biometric appointments for July filers.  Still no Biometric notices for us with a file date of July 22nd.

Hi, I'm based in New York and have not received anything yet. Filed Jul 9th...

 

Besides the I-693 reminder, it was complete silence for 4 months.
