@HRQX yeap that is my big doubt i did 485 and 764 in one appointment.

Sorry I misread your last one. You don’t have a biometrics for 131, only 485 and 765 :) often they do them together but it just depends. Sometimes in some centers they’ll do both even if only one is scheduled also

I’ve been lurking on these forums and wanted to provide some information that may be of help for those still waiting for biometrics appointments.

My wife and I were getting desperate to move along this process and not getting anywhere going through normal procedures.

We applied for a Canadian tourist visa which requires biometrics from her (China) to be completed at the same ASC as the USCIS ASC. The Canadian visa biometrics appointment can be set up after only a couple of days from submitting the online application.

Once she was in the ASC she was able to inquire about her USCIS biometrics appointment. The ASC manager scheduled an appointment. YMMV

im glad you were able to get things moving, however not all Local Offices will be so helpful. When I asked some basic questions they wouldn’t give me an answer as they are not immigration officers themselves....similarly because of covid, some field offices cannot schedule that “easily”, and must wait for the request from USCIS.

what is your field office? You should update your timeline so that others with a similar line and location can follow yours :)

I chat Emma and got an agent last Friday to follow up on my service request for the biometric appointment. They said they couldn't help me because the system is down and I just asked to be put on the Tier 2 queue. This morning the status of the service request changed from unassigned to assigned. I hope I get my biometric appointment soon.

Yes.

i-485 updated from fingerprints taken to "Case Is Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview" before i-765 or i-131 have been updated to show they are sending a card.

Hello everyone, I have filed my i485, i131 and i765, my i130 was approved back in May I was initially going with CR1 process but due to COVID and error in filling we have filed for i485 (that was the error that was on the case, we filed for i485 instead of CR1 NVC route) I came to USA in March just to visit my husband but due to COVID and change in our case USCIS has advised us just to stick to filling for Adjustment of Status. My i485 case is currently on "Fingerprint Fee was Received" and suddenly my i130 case was reopened, does anyone have any idea why?? Thanks in advance.

Hello July AOS Filers,

My wife received her 2nd RFI on Form I-485 and they are asking for Form I-944, which I already sent to them for the last RFI. I'm pretty sure I have everything except for the evidence on education equivalency for her degree. I'm pretty sure this is the reason, we got the RFI because she received her bio appointment for I-485. I tried to call USCIS, but the AI lady would not let me speak to a representative. Have anyone had this issue or something similar?
