Hi all,

I have a question and maybe you remember or can check at your I693 form copy. At form I693 at Page 13, Part 10 (Vaccination Records) at the results part, did civic surgeon check the box: "Applicant may be eligible for blanket waivers as indicated above"?

I guess that civic surgeon has ALSO to check the box "Vaccine history complete for each vaccine, all requirements met"

Did they check the box "Vaccine history complete for each vaccine, all requirements met" for you as well?

So sorry for this message. I am trying to be safe when I will review my I693 copy in a week from now and I am not 100% sure what parts should the civic surgeon check.

Does anyone know if delayed Biometric appointment affect EAD/AP card approval time?

I heard they are processed separately (Biometric by ASC, EAD by National Benefits Center) so it's possible that you get an approval before a Biometric appointment? 😳

Hi, just like with everything else in this process there are multiple opinions and not a real answer.

I have heard of people receiving their cards with a stamp saying "no fingerprint available",

people having their forms approved and the card hold until they completed their fingerprint appointment

and people saying that it is require to have the biometrics first.

The thing that makes more sense to me is that they approve the forms and hold the card until you complete your biometrics but this is only my guess.

That is what USCIS does most of the time. I-765 applications that were approved before August 20 were experiencing delays (biometric scheduling and card production delays), so the approval notices served as List C document for I-9 purposes: https://www.uscis.gov/i-9-central/form-i-9-verification-during-ead-production-delays-due-to-covid-19

If the card says "Serves as I-512 Advance Parole" it's a combo card. A standalone EAD says "Not Valid For Reentry To U.S."

Thank you! We shall see when it arrives then :)
