I am an Aug filler. An update for my and my wife’s cases. They were received from USCIS on Aug 18th. Receipt notice was mailed 1st of Sep.

Interesting is that I-131 and I-765 status is case was received. But for I-485 status is “fingerprint fee was received”.

Does anyone know if that means that they plan to send me a mail with biometrics appointment? Weird is that this is only updated to my I-485 case and not at the other two (I-131 and I-765).

Hey Everyone, my husband and I filed the I-130 online on June 27, 2020 and I mailed out my AOS packet on July 13, 2020. The AOS packet was received on July 27. I have already received my NOA and the money has been withdrawn from our bank account. Last week I received a courtesy I-693 Deficiency Notice which I decided to hold off and I'm wondering if anyone else has received a I-693 Deficiency Notice or a RFE for the I-693?

All 4 receipts (I-130, I-485, I-765 and I-131) should indicate "Case Was Received". I-485 will also state "Fingerprint fee was received" for biometrics.

During this time, USCIS checks your papers and see if they need additional evidences or requirements from you (like what happened in my case). If everything was submitted completely and accurately, then that means you get to the next stage. Goodluck! :)

I received an RFE yesterday for my birth certificate, sending a new one today translated also, does this delays the biometrics appointment?

What was wrong with the first birth certificate you sent? I had an issue with mine too but was not RFE'd (so far and hopefully won't happen) so I just sent an updated birth cert when I sent my updated I-864. I think, in a way, it would delay your biometrics appointment for a few weeks (compared to not being RFE'd at all).

Hi,

I'll be taking part in a 1 hour 1:1 feedback session study on I-485 conducted by USCIS next week. Let me know if you guys have any questions/feedback related to I-485 application form. I'll try to discuss it with them.

How did you register to participate in this session? Can you please bring up delay with EAD's and Biometrics.

Just had our Biometrics appointment at Raleigh ASC for I765 They took only one finger ( Code 2). I was told by Emma agent that even though it says code 2 on the notice, they will take them for Code 3 (all fingers). Someone posted something about it on one of posts. Can't find it now. Does anyone knows where that post is?
