Hi guys, I concurrently filed for AOS with the Forms I-130 and I-485.  Mailed out on July 31st, USCIS received the package on August 1st.  They cashed the check for Form I-130 today August 28th ($ 535 USD), but did not cash the I-485 & Biometrics check ($ 1225 USD).  Do you guys know if USCIS usually cashes first one check and then the other one?  Or do they use to cash both at the same time?  I want to stay positive and don't think that there is an error on the I-485 or other forms (I-131, I-765, I-864, and I-693)

USCIS cashed the I-485 check today at 3:00 pm EST. Now, both checks (I-130 & I-485) have been cashed out. The former was cashed 28 days after filing, and the latter, 32 days after filing. So yes, USCIS can cash checks on different days. Cashing out a check first, and the other one later, doesn't necessarily mean a rejection for one of the forms being filed. NOAs are now on their way :) @DE2020

Well my RFE letter arrived in the mail I need to get the Burt certificate translated and notarized and also they say that I will need a sponsor.

Ah your birth certificate is an easy thing to get translated. Do you have someone who can be your sponsor?

Just got my RFIE and I'm very confused. I already sent both my husband's and co-sponsor's I-864 with additional evidence. Only thing I didn't include was my husband's tax income returns because he doesn't have any (has never been required to file taxes) so I wrote a letter of non-filing instead.

Maybe send them again. What do you mean never required to file taxes? What's the reason?

Also, hide your A# number from the screenshot.

Never made enough money to be required to file. We did it the same way for my K1

I think in that case you should be using joint sponsor and submit their taxes. K1 is just a temporary visa and USCIS might not be strict with their requirement for sponsorship but for AOS i think they need to see income proof/taxes.

Reupload the RFE screenshot but hide A# and other details.

I did use a joint sponsor (says so on the RFE, they just want an extra copy of their birth certificate). Will reupload the screenshot
