I mailed my AOS form out on the 21st of July. It was received on the 24th. I called on Tuesday and they said it was mailed out on the 12th. Still haven't received anything by mail. But got a text last night

We almost have the same timeline. You should receive the NOA1s in  the mail by next week. Have you also checked if your payment has been cashed? Also, the text messages should have receipt numbers that you can check here: https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/mycasestatus.do

Just received an update on my case saying they are requesting for initial evidence. I'm thinking it was my birth certificate since I submitted the "NSO"-stamped one since I had no idea our country's statistics office changed their name. Hopefully that's all they needed 🤞

Hopefully, it's an easy fix. We just received our NOAs in mail today. Now waiting for biometrics.

Thank you! I came here on K1 visa so I didn't file I-130. I hope your matter will go smoothly.

I received my I797C for i485 in mail yesterday, but nothing for i130 except text message. Is there i797C for i130 too? Or just i485?

Each form should receive its own I-797, so perhaps four in total: I-130, I-485, I-131, and I-765. Each is sent individually, so expect a total of two to four. If you submitted them all at once, they likely will get sequential receipt numbers (so try adding one or subtracting one to your receipt number to get more information online).

Only the I-485 receipt is super important (for concurrent filings) since it gives you legal status, all in itself.

(If only USCIS could send them all together and save postage... or maybe the extra handling would negate the cost of postage?)

I just received my package back and it was rejected due to the expired card, my question now is: they sent the package back and it was stapled together completely differently doesn't seem to be in order, do we send the package back that was with the new G1450 form or do it the way we had it before? does the time re start again now and we have to wait for another month for some news? :(

I just arranged it by order: I-130 then I-485, etc. then sent it in one USPS envelope. I did not remove any staplers and they took it :)

It actually took almost a week to be delivered so I would suggest you use a different courier instead of USPS (especially with all the issues happening right now). You may check my timeline below as well for complete details.
