Congratulations! I'm thinking USCIS has automated text services since most received their texts around midnight? Although to be honest, I wouldn't mind what time they send the text so long as they approve my application. LOL

Wow congrats @Aeiou1357! Did anyone use USPS when they sent their AOS packets off? I sent my AOS packet with USPS on July 24th and when I tracked it, the status is "In-Transit". It will delivered to the Post Office PO Box on July 27th but I don't think anyone picked it up yet. Have anyone else has this happened to them?

I used USPS and had the same issue. My package delivery status was similar to yours.

I filed a case with USPS and they started an investigation. At the end,  I got the following message:

"Our records show your item was last scanned Arrival at Unit (60680) listed on a firm sheet for the delivery to USCIS on July 18, 2020.

We contacted the delivery unit and was informed the item has been picked up.  Immigration has a courier service that comes to our facility to pick up their mail twice a day Sunday - Friday, there is no delivery scan because the firm sheet that the item was listed on was not scanned at the time of pick up. If the firm sheet is not scanned tracking will not update. Firm sheets should be scanned and cleared by the end of the business day. Also, it may take 15 to 30 days for Immigration to send a notification of receipt"

Hence, the package was actually pickup up. I am still waiting for official notification from USCIS.

@AlexFB1907 Wow thank you so much for sharing! I was about to do the same and that is good to know that the courier service pick up my package! Now, the wait begins but I'm glad they got our AOS package! Keep us updated once you get your notification for USICS and I will do the same!

I've never seen USCIS working this fast. Knock on wood...

I've been reading the other forums as well and it seems that USCIS has been diligently working on the backlogs AND the new applications (I would consider us July filers as new applicants). I hope this continues and we get the EAD/ AP cards as soon as possible. I don't even want to apply yet as I'm afraid to get a good offer but can't accept it because of the missing EAD 😅

Sharing this news to all July filers like me. Wish everyone a faster approval! 🤞

https://www.balglobal.com/bal-news/us-court-orders-uscis-to-print-employment-authorization-documents/

"Key points:

The temporary order requires USCIS to print EADs within seven days for applicants whose EAD applications have been approved but who have not received their cards.

The court said that even though USCIS is not bound by a specific timeline for printing EADs, the agency does not have “unfettered discretion to issue EADs at any time they wish.”

The order is in effect until the court’s hearing on whether to issue a preliminary injunction on Monday, Aug. 10.

Background: The lawsuit was brought by several applicants who have waited months without receiving their EAD cards following approval of their applications, alleging they will lose their jobs and health insurance, and be unable to find work or support their families without proof of employment authorization. The USCIS Ombudsman recently acknowledged delays in printing EADs, as well as green cards, because USCIS ended a contract with the company that printed them."
