Hi everyone,

Does this apply for someone with just the Advance Parole too? I'm awaiting my interview (Seattle office so it could be forever) and I'd like to go home to the UK, but I'm wondering if I will be allowed to return back. I did notice on the proclamation that spouses of US citizens are allowed to return, but I wasn't sure if I the Advance Parole counts as proof of permanent residence. (I've never been able to find the answer to this online.) As far as I'm aware, I need to leave the country anyway before the 4th January and return for a new parole stamp and I thought this might be better than just going up to Canada. Which I can't do right now anyway.

Best,

Jade

Advance Parole should work if you are the spouse of a US Citizen.
