Hi folks- I filed my ROC with divorce waiver back in April 2018. I got my extension letter around July 2018 for 1 year and then got another one with 18 months extension in August 2018. I never got any letter for Biometrics or never heard any update on my application. Last year June (2019) I got a letter saying case was transferred to another office for jurisdiction. That's it. Nothing after that and online case status still says same: **We transferred your case to..... ** . Should I be worried about the case now? By the way- I got one year more extension on passport in March 2020.

Did any filer here from similar timeframe hear anything about the case or decision?

2018 seems way long. It's time you asked USCIS about your case as people in 2019, I included, were already approved

I filed with the divorce waiver on March 2019. Lin filler.

Got my biometrics done on September or October 2019.

Rfe March 2020

Case is ready for interview on May 2020.

Waiting.

I don't know why does it take so long. And they want me for another interview. Cuz I already had one for AOS.

My only guess is it takes so much because I have this waiver.

With all the mess going on right now, I don't put my hopes up.

Wish your case move forward. Good luck

Sounds really good. Did you file with waiver? You got approved very fast- Congrats! Do you mind to share your full time line and also a brief about your case?

Thanks

Did you got interview notice? I know they are not taking any interview now for COVID. Did you file with waiver? I was surprised for not having biometrics. I dont know it it is normal not to have biometrics.

Nope. No waiver. Regular filing.

AOS filed July of 2016

Biometrics around November 2016, I think

AOS interview September of 2017

ROC papers sent Mid July of 2019

Biometrics in October 2019, I think (It was first waived for a lot of filers then USCIS changed their minds and sent us for biometrics)

ROC approval, without interview, Mid May 2020

Naturalization filed July 2020

Well, I'm technically still married. So filed under the 3 year rule. Home state is Texas, Houston...Met while I was a student. So I adjusted from F-1 student Visa

I didn't get the notice, because case is still at "ready to be scheduled for interview"

I did file waiver.

And some people don't have them biometrics. But usually they do. Did you call them?

Hi- I called USCIS today. They said: It is showing in their system that the case is in pre-processing stage and the office will let me know about an interview via letter to my address.

Also the lady said USCIS is processing cases from March 28, 2018. So I may expect something like in a month or so I believe. (I filed April 30, 2018).

I heard for Corona virus situation, USCIS was not taking in person interview or may be trying to adjudicate the case without the interview based on merit. I thought I might not have to face interview but this lady said - Wait for letter 🥺 I hope interview is not something negative for case!

Ok, good. At least you know that everything is fine and you didn't miss your biometrics appointment or anything like that. Waiting game continues 😃

And for me my interview for AOS went smoothly. So I just want to be scheduled for one and be done with that.

“Technically still married” is not the requirement for 3 year rule. It’s to actually reside together and not be separated.

Hello folks: I am a ROC filer with waiver since April 2018. Since March 2019 my case is: Transferred to another office and new office to give jurisdiction. I am texas filer. Is USCIS taking so long time for rest all? For me it is already 32 months! I also got one year extension on top of regular 18 months extension.
