I am petitioning my spouse on a cr-1 visa. I am filling out the I-864 affidavit of support. My recent tax years show an income of below the 21,000 minimum poverty guideline. But my current income for this year exceeds the limit. I have already made over $25,000 In the first 6 months this year. Will my paystubs with an employment verification letter Be sufficient to show I can support the principle immigrant or should I also file I-864a and use a household members income as well?

Why are you filling it out now?  Has your petition been approved already? Current income is the key.  Historical not so much.

Uscis already approved. I’m in the NVC stage. Fees have been paid and ds-260 is complete.

Current income is the key but it's still a judgment call.  Note current income does not mean 2020 expected income.  It means your gross pay for a full pay period times the number of pay periods in a full year.  If you didn't work the last six months and got a job July 1 making a thousand a week, your current income is 52k, not 26k.  26k is this years expected income in that example but it's irrelevant.  The country makes a difference too.
