K1 Fiance Reissue

Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone had a K1 Fiance Visa issued in the UK which has now expired due to Covid-19 and if anyone has managed to progress with getting another one reissued.  I understand that the embassy website is saying we must get in touch once normal operations open.  Has anyone managed to get in touch and begin reissue progression? Or does anyone know when ‘normal operations’ would be opening? It’s quite frustrating because it was valid up until June 30th, and now we’re hearing of people being able to fly to their loved ones through other means, which is amazing!  This site is so positive and encouraging, any help would be great. Apologies if there is already a topic on this.

As you said normal operations aren’t yet here and no one can predict when that will happen. I imagine some embassies won’t open until 2021 for those that have high rates of COVID. The first step I would take is to email them; did you do this? You will need a new medical once everything is said and done however. Please create your timeline on VJ; upper right hand corner click on your user name - my timeline - add/edit timeline. I also suggest following the U.K. specific portal.

I called USCIS a few weeks ago to ask about the valid date for the K1 approval. I was told that they will be extending those dates automatically and did not need an extension. I asked for the representatives name and ID which she gave to me so I have something to back it up. Its worth calling yourself to see if they give you the same answer.
