Hello, I need help with this information, I came to the United States  with a K2 fiance visa, a few months later my children arrived with a visa dependent on my fiancee visa, now I want to process the permanent residence documents for them, but all the information I find , is it of cases that request their children (who live in the country of origin), and my children are already here, .... should I do the same process of residence as the people who must claim their children or is it different? Thank you very much.:energy:

Thank you for your answer,:energy:

my children are 17 and 12 years old,  about the fee .... for children under 14 it says ....I-485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status (certain applicants under the age of 14 years).

what does it mean (certain applicants), that is, I do not know if I should pay for the 17 year old 1,140 dollars and for the  12 years old  750 dollars. Do you know somtehing about this ?

If I'm filling out things right in the USCIS fee calculator https://www.uscis.gov/feecalculator , it's $1225 for the 17-year-old ($1140 plus the $85 biometrics fee) and $750 for the 12-year-old.

Also, even though it might seem silly in concept, you should fill out EAD applications for your kids, as that's the only way to get an SSN for them until they get their green cards. But don't worry; that doesn't cost extra.

Hello,  :help:I have found for children under 14 years old , I do not need to pay biometrics, but on the USCIS page fee, I have read that children under 14 years old, must pay $ 750 if they start the procedure with one of their parents

If not, they must pay $ 1,140. I did my AOS months before my children arrived to USA.

Now, I'm going to start the process for my two children. I would like to be sure that I do not send more or less money than necessary and to have  problems with the process. So, is it okay to pay for my 12 year old daughter ... $ 1,140 for the process or like my children's visa is dependent to my visa k2, I  have to pay 750 dollars?

Thank you.:energy:
