Hello everybody! My name is Alessia. I am just starting to gather all the information and documentations I will need to filed the K1 application. Before I start the process I want to make sure I totally understand all the steps I will need to take. I have fews questions:

1. This one is primarily for Italians who lived in another country before moving to the USA with a K1 visa. I am living in Edinburgh since 2018 and I will be living here for the next year. I am enrolled in the A.I.R.E  (Anagrafe Italiani Residenti all'Estero) and  I do not have any address in Italy anymore. Can I go to the U.S. Embassy in London for the medical exams and the interview? Also, all the vaccinations that needs to be done, can I do them here in Scotland?

2. My fiancé's dad has passed away last year. Do I write deceased in the City and Country of Residence?

3. Do I need to write N/A every single time that information in not applicable or I can leave blank spaces?

4. I-129F, PART 6 to 8. If not of that is applicable, do I just leave it blank?

5. Do I send both of the birth certificates with the I-129F? And do I (the beneficiary) bring both of the to the interview? If yes at both questions...do I need originals?

Thank you in advance to who will answer and help me!!!

2. My fiancé's dad has passed away last year. Do I write deceased in the City and Country of Residence? Yes

3. Do I need to write N/A every single time that information in not applicable or I can leave blank spaces? N/A

You will be told by the embassy what to bring to the interview.  It varies by embassy/consulate.  You have at least a year before you need to worry about that.

Are you the US citizen petitioner?  The petition is primarily about the petitioner, and should be completed by that person.

There is a checklist/instruction document on the USCIS.gov site that accompanies the I-129f.  I suggest you use that.

As far as I know: This depends not on whether Italy knows that you reside abroad but whether you can convince the State Department that you have status in the UK. If you have, or have applied for settled status in the UK, they should allow you to interview in the UK as well.
