USCIS waived my Second interview for my N-400

Hello friends!

I had my first citizenship interview in March 2020 and I passed my citizenship test but the officer said that a decision cannot be made yet. After a week of my interview USCIS scheduled me another interview for my N-400 (second interview), but they canceled it due to office closure. Recently, the officer who interviewed me left me a voicemail to my phone number and it says, "We do not need to have you come in for a second interview and a decision will be made shortly and you can follow the instruction or call me after that if you have question." Friends, I am tired of waiting and don't know what the decision will be? Can someone please guess what the decision will be? Thank you so much friends.

I know that be seriously frustrating and worrying but try not to overthink it. Just wait. That’s all you can do.

All it means is that upon further review, they decided that they have enough info to make a decision on your case.  There is no way to discern what the decision is.

What instructions did she give you?
I would call her back for clarification instead of asking people on the internet what I means 🙂

Is your N400 based on marriage 3 year rule. How did you get your green card?

its pretty rare to have 2nd interview for N400 application unless there an issue with the application or something not synching up.

if everything clean and there is no hidden information, i would not worry about it just wait for the decision.

The instructions she spoke of will be in the letter you're about to receive. The letter will also state if it was an approval or denial and what has to happen next. Nothing to do but wait for the letter.

What issues did he found on your N400 at you first interview ? I got a same issue because when I when for my visa interview at US Ambassy I did not mention that I have a baby. When I got to US I apply for my baby and I received approval she now in us with me. According to the issue I will tell you what to do.

Salam Agha Yousef, my senses are telling me that you are approved and you are going to get the official notification/letter about it. If you were denied, they would have not called you, rather likely you would have gotten a denial letter. So the fact that she has called you creates a positive prediction to me!

Please let us know, and don't forget about the party/shirini:)
