Ive seen several posts on this prevalent issue with completing the DS-260 online. It seems the system is broken! I have tried saving my entries after each one is entered, but no, it only allows me to save each completed page. My issue comes at the past addresses since the age of 16 years. Im now a 52 year old man and as such have 'got around' quite a bit. Much like others I have written all my data down, so I am merely transposing the data on to the system with no pauses. It still refuses to progress or let me save. Ive tried, chrome, firefox, safari, and opera to no avail, some do not even let me log in. I have wasted a full afternoon trying to find a way to enter this information. Has anyone actually found a tried and tested method to get a stable connection that allows the information to be entered without locking up or timing out? I am using a Mac both on a laptop and a desktop incidentally. It's just as well that there is a weekend holiday as I am more than frustrated, also due to the fact that I know Im still at the beginning of the form....😡😟

My wife was 59 when we filled in her DS-260.......I agree that it isn't fun.....she also had many different addresses.

I am also having difficulty with the addresses since I moved around quite a bit and from 16 yrs old is a long time since I am already 54 yrs old. I have the same problem which until now I have not solved and it frustrates me because it’s already almost a month since we have paid NVC so we can start uploading . It’s the ds 260 that is frustrating. What to do with it? Have no idea until now. I need help too please😢

I have been with the same problem for three days.  I have to add 10 addresses, 8 jobs, and education.  I get tired and it will be waiting a few days or calling to see what happens to the system.Just saved my personal information.

I had this issue. Write it all down en in a word document and copy paste it. I had over ten addresses and managed to complete it this way.

That isn't a solution to the problem as my browser has remembered all of the entries and autofills them, in effect faster than cut and paste. I really do believe there is a serious glitch in their system.

Call me a conspiracy theorist, but I am now convinced there is a built in glitch to their system. On my final attempt on Friday, I made a point of entering the address, saving the entry after each entry, even though it refused the save, entered the next entry, etc etc. Along the way I entered the telephone and email addresses it requested. Each time I pressed save, it said i hadn't gone far enough back to my 16th birthday, but let me continue. The moment I entered the final address that went before my 16th birthday, bam, it crashed and said it had lost the secure connection. Just a little too convenient to be random. Obviously, I couldn't talk to anyone on Friday, being the govt was shut down for the forth, what am I saying, it could be the 24th and they wouldn't answer the phone..... No replies to email enquiries, no-one answering the phones, has anyone had ANY joy out of NVC? Im at a loss as to how we can now progress our case. I suspect a call to my wife's congress rep might be forthcoming.

It's not a question of knowing or remembering what to put, it's a question of the website/form permitting it to be entered. I explain what is happening in my additional comments on the thread.
