Hello beautiful people, please enlighten me. I submitted an expedite request last June 24 and then this morning I got the following message. I’m just wondering what does it mean? Because when I checked online my case number, its still with NVC

It means that NVC has approved your expedite request and will next send the case to the Manila Embassy for the rest of the visa process.  Sending the case will take some time, maybe a week or two, maybe more or less than that.  Even with an expedite things take time, especially with the virus.  Check the Manila embassy website or call the number as the message said, for instructions on the interview scheduling, medical, etc.   Hopefully they'll open up again soon.  Good luck!

Thank you so much! I’m loosing  my head right now. Someone told me that this isn’t an approval from the NVC so I had to double check it.

Once we received such an email from NVC, our file was immediately sent digitally to the embassy. We heard from the embassy the next day with instructions on how to move forward with doctor's visit and collecting documents. The same day we informed the embassy I had been at the doctor's and we had collected all required we got an email with an appointment for the interview for 2 days later. It all went very quickly after that email from NVC.

I have seen so many expedites being approved by Manila - it seems they grant almost every request. Even wanting to attend a birthday seems a valid reason. Due to that, the impact on expedition is probably a slightly less rapid processing compared to Sweden for instance. Only judging by the numbers of expedite approvals I’ve seen for Manila, the backlog for re-schedules and expedites alone could be months... 😑

I got expedited on Thursday. CEAC is still saying "at NVC". I would have thought it would change immediately, but it is holiday weekend. I know how things work.

I hope it gets forwarded on Monday as UK has opened up things today.

I hope mine gets forwarded in Manila soon. I’m gonna do my medical examination on Wednesday.

Well, you guys have a lot more people moving to the US than the UK does! There will probably be a more of a wait to get interviewed.

I took my medical last week, you should have nothing to worry about there. Unless you have TB, syphilis or gonorrhea. That's all my doctor seemed to care about!

Please someone explain how to appeal for an expedited interview? Can you do that before being DQed?
I’m a CR1 applicant from Moscow, Russia. My husband is currently in Michigan, USA.

Email NVC. If they agree that your case should be expedited, they will.
