I wonder how long does it take on average after they reuse the Biometrics for them to schedule an interview.

That's a good question, i think it's depends on the field office how busy they are. From a July 2020 filer like me, it took him 7 weeks to finish all the procces!! That's what he said:

Did my Oath ceremony immediately after the test, just myself and the oath officer, they didn't even allow pictures during Oath because of Covid(Interview and oath time took less than 30mins). Got my certificate immediately. from filing of case, it took 7wks to get everything done. Thanks to every1

I am a March 2020 filer and was supposed to have my biometrics appointment March 24th but unable to due to the lock down. I have sent messages to enquire about my case but all they say is they'll reschedule when they reopen. Its been over 2 months now and I haven't seen any letter. My case status is still showing "Biometrics appointment scheduled " like it was since March 6th. I am currently at the post office about to send my old biometrics appointment letter with the reschedule box checked hoping it'll stir up something.  At this point I don't even know what else to do. Just keep waiting or what?

I wouldn't send that reschedule thing. Maybe by the time they get it and someone actually opens that they would have already scheduled something, which will cause more significant delays.

It wouldn't harm to send the reschedule request as the reschedule is for the original appointment and not the rescheduled appointment.  I did that and am not sure if it made any difference but I got a rescheduled appointment. I'm a March 2020 filer with an original bio-metrics appointment in April which got canceled. My rescheduled appointment is tomorrow.

I filled N-400 online on may 28th. USCIS Sent me a letter on September 4 stating that they will reuse my biometrics (The ones they took back in february 2017 when I removed Conditions).

I got the feeling in the next 2 or 3 weeks they are gonna send me a letter for the interview, so I am studying at a good pace.
