on 25th March, my Biometrics appointment was postponed since the offices were closed due to the coronavirus situation.

My ASC is Riverside, California. It reopened on the 21st July. I am now waiting for a reschedule notice, as soon as I have more information I'll share!

Hoping for good news at last

Have a nice day! 😄

Hi May I know when you filed and estimate case completion? My biometrics was cancelled too but it says estimate case completion is Nov 2020.

Also at Riverside ASC. I filed late March so did not get an initial biometrics appointment. I remember when I did my ROC the biometrics at Riverside was much slower than any of the others in the "filed in month" group (memory says 2-3 weeks longer delay), so I expect we may hear from other areas before Riverside.

I have a feeling that until funding is secured for USCIS, they will not be scheduling biometrics. I think they may have opened up for certain applications but for N400 and 485 they will not do anything for now in case they have to proceed with furloughs and avoid a bigger problem in not having the manpower to deschedule everything. It is impossible that they're all open by now and no one in this forum has received biometrics appt for applications submitted as early as March.

I doubt they wont, they have to move forward with everything, they have enough to fulfill applications and have a positive outcome by the end of this year, and by the looks of it, it seems like they just made all that up changing the reason from lack of funds and covid this year, to now having the probability of not having funds for next year. But there is no data showing their reasoning. and if they dont act on the current applications theyre going to find themselves in a hole. thats my assessment on this situation.

I can only hope you're right, I always stay positive, just cant believe there is nothing getting scheduled and they've been open, here in Charlotte since 7/20. I saw on one of the timelines that someone who filed on 7/26 has an 8/14 Biometrics appointment? see if you can find the same thing lol

There are so many factors...Imagine if they are only performing 50 or even less biometrics appointment a day because of COVID? I'm only speculating but if they are limiting how many people enter the building for bio/interview it might be a bit of a time.

if you go to the last page, it shows a user with 2020 dates.

Right from Newark NJ...but they are posting in a July 2019 forum and they stated that they had an interview scheduled this April 2020 so their timeline posting doesn't make sense to me.

Same here in NY, mostly everything opened July 20th and still nothing. I applied back in April and I thought i would see some movement but nothing at all. So far my estimated completion time is January 2021 hopefully before lol. Im going to the military and I need my citizenship to forward with the career I picked but all in God's timing. Lets hope we hear and get something by end of this month beginning of August.
