Good day every one!

so after a long  wait I still have not been able to get tax transcripts because I do not qualify to get them online and IRS is not mailing them so I have a question

 

Is there a third party that can help me get tax transcripts online? I have heard of "power of attorney" but I'm not sure how it works.

 

We are waiting on my husbands interview and I know this will take long due to the ban but I just applied for naturalization and its saying "completion time: 4 months" not sure if it will happen in 4 months but I want to be prepared with what I need ahead of time. any suggestions will be greatly appreciated as this is really frustrating for me.

A professional tax preparer could probably gain access to download your transcripts. You would basically fill out and sign an authorization form giving access for the tax preparer to your IRS account for the tax period(s) needed. Once the IRS processes the authorization, which is usually within 1 to 2 weeks, the preparer can access the transcripts and request to have copies faxed to him/her or download via a secure mailbox.

1/27/17: AOS Interview :star: - APPROVED!! :dance:  [Day 129 / 120 w/ 9day RFIE delay]

1/27/17: AOS Case status update - Approved | 1/31/17: New Card in Production | 2/1/17: Card Was Mailed

What kind of IRS account do you mean? because that's exactly my problem, I do not qualify to create an IRS account.

Every taxpayer has an IRS account. The account you're referring to is an online access account as an individual. A professional tax preparer can be authorized by you to access your IRS account.

 

You'll need to engage a professional tax preparer to help you obtain your tax transcripts. They'll know what to do.

They shouldn't charge as much either, it can totally be done for around $50 total (or less).
