We rejected your case

My wife and I filed three days ago for my N400 and I received NOA1 2 days ago. Today I checked my case and it says we rejected your case.

I know I should wait until I receive the letter but anybody knows why this might happened? I checked all the attachments and the form and there was no issue. One thing I noticed is that the 725$ never drafted from my account. I'm pretty sure I used the correct banking and routing number.

It could be something as simple as not signing a form......it likely can be corrected easily.....good luck.

Was this online N400 application?

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

Some people have had issues paying online because the bank thought it was fraud. So anybody who has issues paying should call their bank and give permission for the transaction.

  • 2 weeks later...

My Bank insisted that no withdrawal ever requested and there was a problem either at USCIS or at my side entering wrong information. I paid two application and I'm not sure how it is possible to enter information wrong twice! Paying with credit card was a breeze but at the end of the day I had to pay 30$ service fee X 2 since my payments were rejected and my case delayed for three days between payments. I would suggest everyone to stick with Credit card option.

So was it a debit card?
