NB/ So it looks like what I have been sharing (news and updates from the friend) is really cross matching with everyone’s experiences so far, yani those with DQs until mid-March were getting interviews but then kinda slowed down or stopped after that.

 

If there are news from those with DQs after mid March and April, please share too. 

It looks like there are still Jan and Feb DQs who have no interviews?

Our DQ is Feb 24th and interview is May 4th. Maybe they’ve gotten to March now?

Hoping they get there soon DQ March 23rd still at NVC

Who knows what is going on.  They say they process in order of DQs.  I know of people with April DQs who got interviews this month.

I was there on Wednesday and indeed  interviews are happening but K1's and IR1's plus  the few expedited. Only one CO was conducting though.

Asante for update, but just curious what's your DQ date then and is it CR/IR or K visas?

Interesting are they k1's or Cr1's ,expedite or normal processing.  What dates are their interview Kindly

We are CR1 and will be IR1 in about 2 months and one week , knowing their dates of interviews will help us estimate if we get an interview now or sooner will we be have gotten to IR1

This was a CR1 person with  DQ in late April 2020.  They has an interview April 7th and the VISA is being issued

Does anyone know how long it takes for the consular/embassy to send an appointment letter with instructions? Our case is now showing “in transit” and we received an email stating that we should wait for an email from the consular office with instructions for an appointment. I don’t want to get too excited and get disappointed again like last time (coz they cancelled our appointment last month tentatively).
