Is there any way I can get information about this? will USCIS give me any information if I call them. all I have is the receipt number of the i-130 that we sent out 2 years ago,I don't have some A number that they ask for online.

If you call USCIS and ask about her green card, they will not tell you anything, even though you're the petitioner and are married to her.  I found this out when I called USCIS after my husband arrived in the US 10 months ago, to confirm that they had our correct new address.  I was just trying to help him because his English was not good when he arrived.  They would not even speak to me about a simple thing like his address, so he got on the phone with me and I translated.  You won't get any information about her green card if you call USCIS, don't waste your time on hold for hours.  As others have said, file for divorce with a good attorney and hope you don't have to split all of your assets 50/50.  Good luck!

But is that true? You can’t have two versions of the story running at the same time. You said the relationship started to break down a few months ago. Now you are claiming on your divorce paperwork that it was 6 months ago. So are manipulating the facts on the divorce paperwork to get the desired outcome? Ironically that’s exactly what you are accusing your wife of doing to get her visa. If the marriage did fall apart 6 months ago or more, sounds like either or both of you swindled the embassy in presenting a story of a genuine romantic relationship in order to have the visa approved.

And you are also considering an annulment. The requirements vary by state but in general the annulment option is to protect vulnerable people who have been manipulated or coerced into a marriage without full disclosure of the facts. It’s not a “flexible returns policy” with no questions asked. You’re not returning an item to Macy’s. I don’t know where you live but it will be almost impossible to get an annulment after two years of marriage and jumping through hoops to convince not one but two separate government agencies that the marriage is genuine.

Sounds like you are being slightly shady in your dealings with this matter also. If you are going to “report” someone for fraud, you need to at least make sure your slate is perfectly clean first.

If she did string you along and was only interested in a green card all along, she not only has great stamina but she’s also a damn good actress. She fooled you and the government if that’s the case. It’s unusual for green card shoppers to play the game that long.

I’m confused by “she never showed up”. Were you not there at the airport to meet her? Did she walk straight past you and into a cab? Or did she fly a completely different routing or date than what she told you so you were left standing at the airport waiting for her in vain?

She said at first that she doesn't want to come anymore and then two weeks later she told me that she's already here at her friends house and that she never wants to see me again.

Said that I have to mail her the GC if it gets here, I told her that it's my property since I am the petitioner, this was a mistake because this probably made her change the address.

I snapped at some point and told her to surrender the GC and leave, she then said she will get a restraining order against me and said I am an abusive A-hole, she didn't get the restraining order.

Obviously she committed fraud and the government won't do anything even if I report her.

See she already seems to be going in a dangerous direction, unfortunately if she files some fake domestic violence case or makes something up it just screws with your record (felony for example)

As others have suggested please lawyer up, visa journey members are awesome but are not the end all be all in extremely complicated cases like yours. I would also suggest to just divorce her and move on, there are quite a few guarantees that you gave the federal government on her behalf for her visa so trying to undo it just complicates your situation. Safeguard your interests first rather than trying to be vindictive.

sorry this happened to you, best of luck

Hold attorneys accountable? You must be fun at parties. Before you deal with attorneys, you always need to sign some no-guarantee agreements. You don’t trust people here, then why are you here?

Attorneys do get held accountable a lot for malpractice etc. although the vast majority get away with it.

Just another random guy from the internet with an opinion, although usually backed by data!

No one on this forum is a lawyer or even close to it. I suggest get a real lawyer & see what you can do.
