Hello all. Would like to ask for advice about my situation. we received an immigrant F4 visa and also paid USCIS immigrant fee. But due to current COVID19 situation we were unable to travel to US and now our visa are expiring by july 22,2020. keeping in mind the current situation and as there are no international flights we are not able to travel. so what process should be done further for extention of visa expiry or what guidlines should be followed. Do i need to go through some part of process again or visa validity will be extented automatically.

Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.

thanks,

viral.

You will need to contact the embassy Now, if possible.

but later when it opens/  they will advise and you can expect the person to need a new medical exam

i am sure at this time all the embassies are as confused as most people and each time a new EO come out they contact the people in the know and ask , "exaclty what does this mean?" and how do we intrepret the notice?  with  questions like Do we have to include testing for Covid 19 now?"
