Hi, 

I left the US while the removing conditions of residency was being processed, I had the notice saying it was extended for 18 months and left after doing the biometrics. I’ve been abroad since September 2019 and received the new green card without having to go for an interview in March 2020 in the US. My husband sent it to me in France.
I’m wondering if the fact that I left the US while the new green card was being processed is a big deal for me coming back in August, does it invalidate the green card? Would they think I abandoned the process?

No, it is not AOS. You are fine, just come back asap before one year mark.
