Hello all, my wife just received an interview date for August 4th, 2020. We are so excited but at the same time nervous because she has to organize her documents to present to the CO. It was such short notice. I just received the emai this morning but didn't read it until 30 minutes ago.

Congratulations! I'm cheering for you two!

That’s what they told me. After 5 emails and calling 2 times I finally was able to find out NVC scheduled me for 12 August. I thought it was very weird prioritizing IR-1 over CR-1, maybe the first representative I talked to at the embassy gave me wrong information.

Thanks for that and many congrats for your interview appointment

I need some feedback on an inquiry I have, so my wife interview is this upcoming Tuesday,  August 4th. My question is would it be a good idea to upload an updated version of the I864? Given the time being it's practically impossible for me to send her an original abroad. Therefore, I was thinking to upload it on ceac? Or should I just leave it as is with the ones submitted to NVC?

If your income was qualified before dont bother. However if it was close to not qualified and now you are making more I'd fill out and scan a new one and she can print it and bring it with her.

I’ve heard reports that 125% is not enough and asked my mother to help joint sponsor. We’re going to try to get approval with what we have, but I went ahead an prepared a i864 (me) & i864a (mom) in case we have an RFE. I originally submitted and approved with i864ez. I’m not submitting new info to CEAC.

@mave Congratulations!! That is wonderful news!!

My current income barely qualifies but I have a joint sponsor. The original I864 for my joint sponsor have the A number missing, which I totally forgot to include but they got approved. Also the date signed for thos is March 28, 2020. Idk if that makes it a little outdated. And my income and joint sponsor income has changed as well.

I'm so happy to share that I got my passport back with the IR-1 visa today!

My NOA1 was exactly 2 years ago today. 730 days! It took us a lot of patience while going through this process. Thanks to all VJ members for graciously sharing their experiences. I'm sending love and wishes to all those who are in the process. Stay hopeful and it'll be your turn soon!

Wow 2 years, what a journey! So glad to hear you're finally done with the process. Congratulations!!

Congratulations. I just added you to the spreadsheet. And No worries. The required documents she just needs to make sure she can grab it and hand over. You have the DS-260 confirmation page right?
And all the originals civil documents. Any extra evidence if you want you are good to go. Get that medical now.
