I called and they said IR-1 have already been scheduled for August, but no word on the CR-1. She also said they are unable to schedule an interview while the case still shows “AT NVC” and they told me to contact NVC and tell them to send the case to the embassy. I send NVC an inquiry, I am confused on what is happening right now, my case seems to be in limbo.

So does it mean they are prioritizing IR1s over CR1 as they operate with limited resources?

That’s what they told me. After 5 emails and calling 2 times I finally was able to find out NVC scheduled me for 12 August. I thought it was very weird prioritizing IR-1 over CR-1, maybe the first representative I talked to at the embassy gave me wrong information.

is it possible whoever was on the other end of the phone didn't mean just IR1 over CR1, but just "spousal visa" in general and misspoke? my experience with talking to anyone during the visa process is they don't always know what they are talking about. They are essentially the same visa!

Got this message right after when my status has changed to ready, I tried to schedule an appointment on that website but there is no calendar, so I called the embassy, they said that they will send a request to open calendar, takes 2 days

Has Anyone had the same?

No that's good. Processing is going forward they just got to do some things. Every case goes through Administrative Processing soon Issued will be posted.

Hello all, my wife just received an interview date for August 4th, 2020. We are so excited but at the same time nervous because she has to organize her documents to present to the CO. It was such short notice. I just received the emai this morning but didn't read it until 30 minutes ago.

Congratulations, good luck.. hope it goes well. please post an update in order for us to know what to expect. We are still DQ but at NVC, have not tranfered.
