WOW all this good news with progress. Way to end July. I don't have you on spreadsheet. What's your DQ date? You have no timeline so I can't get stats. That is really crucial and helps others.

Got this message right after when my status has changed to ready, I tried to schedule an appointment on that website but there is no calendar, so I called the embassy, they said that they will send a request to open calendar, takes 2 days

Has Anyone had the same?

You are lucky they are opening the calendar for you. It happens. I'm sure most embassies just had them turned off so people don't schedule so they just have to open it up for you.

If you ticked the box for your SSN, you should get it quickly and be able to work.  Some employers are pretty good about seeing your validated I-551 and allowing you to begin working before the SSN shows up.

Still waiting on mine.  117 days, nothing issued.  We can begin an inquiry after 120 days.

You can mail in your passport with your I-551 stamp to get one.  I refuse (my kids need SSN's; mine needs updating to show I'm a PR) because what if I need to travel?  I don't have my GC yet, so I need something that indicates status!

If you've filed a joint income tax return, the non-US spouse was likely assigned an ITIN (tax number).  You can often use it when the health insurance company insists on a social and update it later.  That's how we had to put my kids onto hub's plan.

I'm still waiting for an interview date, but thank you so much for these detailed responses -- they will come in handy when I get to this point and need to deal with these issues!

I submitted my eMedical report and passport to US Consulate and they received them yesterday. I asked to change to my other passport for the visa and I hope it won't complicate things or delay the processing too long. Keep my fingers crossed.

What a bummer, I was locked out for reaching maximum amount of log in to their website to schedule an appointment now I must wait for 72 hours to log in again, so I can't schedule an interview appointment because of this

Brazil here and nada.

No news on social media or their website.
Anyone know if there´s a criteria the embassies are using to reopen?

DOS mentions it but very vaguely.

Q.  What criteria are missions using to determine when to resume routine services?

  • We are closely monitoring local conditions in each country where we have a U.S. presence. Local conditions that may affect when we can begin providing various public services include medical infrastructure, COVID-19 cases, emergency response capabilities, and restrictions on leaving home.

No problem :)  There is a LOT to consider, so any time I can be of assistance, I certainly will!  Doesn't help that these are crazy times!

Hopefully you'll get your interview soon!
