Thank you, but it says the file is invalid.

Ah hmm, I just copied and pasted the link as I am viewing the document, but the link is listed differently in that post -- it might need to authenticate the page first before it lets you view.

Try this!

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AtbvTEwLyHz1dEhlZjdKczRMRmJrSnc5MTk1SkVrYVE&usp=sharing#gid=0

Did you fill out the form to be added? @dwheels76 is in charge of the spreadsheet and adds the information manually either when you submit the form or when she has time to go through the thread and see people mentioning they were DQd or received an interview date. Since it's manual though, it's not an instant process.

Link to the form to add your info is here:

What travel restrictions? Spouses and kids aren't subject to travel restrictions. Probably a 3 to 4 month backlog, but with them only processing cr/ir and some student visas which could make it go quicker..

Yeah they're only gonna be doing interviews for ir1/cr1. There's only gonna be a 3/4 month backlog in the sense that it's been 3 or 4 months since they were performing interviews. If they're only doing one type of interview it's not gonna take that long to get caught up.

That form is still very new and so the Institutions don't seem how to deal with it. They have so much paperwork to do already.

You don't have to wait after the interview to enquire about an Insurance for you/your spouse.

What most couples do is the US citizen petitionner gets in touch with his/her insurance and asks to have his/her spouse added.

You have to fight a bit on this, because most companies will argue :

- that you can add new people on a contract only once a year and at a certain month of the year (November very often I think);

- and also they may tell you that they cannot do it until the immigrant is not "greencarded" by USCIS. So you have to discuss with them, showing them the official document that the applicant HAS TO CONTRACT an insurance within 30 days after arrival.

Good luck 😉

(I have seen no one on Visa Journey who had to show it during the interview at the Embassy)

Thank you for such useful information.
