Actually I am subscribed to lots of immigration lawyers on YouTube. I usually find out more from other filers here on VJ than I do from lawyers. We are here to share any updates so questions are welcome. You are right, we have to be patient and try to stay positive!

Thanks very much,  patience like i said is just the key word you know.   In times like this, it's so sad that no one even know what to do next or who to contact.

But it is well anyways. . . .

My son got DQed yesterday June 29 (I'm still waiting for mine). Unfortunately, Manila Embassy has cancelled interviews till July 31. I'm hopeful though because  some said those who got cancelled in March are having their interviews lately.

Has anyone received their appointments from Manila Embassy yet?

Hi! Been waiting for an interview date at the Manila Embassy ever since I got DQ'd in April.. They will slowly continue interviews in the Manila embassy for emergency and mission-critical cases which hopefully we get an interview date soon..since IR1/CR1 etc is considered mission-critical cases..😊

Hello everyone

My case was DQ from march , and expedited interview was due to happen on April 01 , but it was cancelled, i had two updates on ceac one on april and second on june 26 , i fear to age out

Aging out is considered one of the reasons for expediting a case. Have you tried asking the consulate for an emergency expedite?

I wonder why the visa types aren't showing up on the spreadsheet? I put mine in I know...

I think it's meant to assume IR-1/CR-1 and then that column lists any exceptions to that. I do see a few entries that seem to go against this, but I also know that the spreadsheet is updated manually.

You've been DQed since April? Where's your case, is it still at NVC

Our patience will really be tested here. Just when I thought we're about to end this whole LDR journey, it gets frustratingly slow...

I'm still hopeful we'll get our interviews soon. 🙏

Any UK folks had any movement for London Embassy? DQ in May but still "at NVC".

We got DQ June 2 and haven't heard anything yet from London Embassy. Our case also still says "at NVC." Maybe with restrictions being a little more relaxed starting on July 4 we will hear something soon!!!

After being approved for a conditional NVC expedite (the condition being we'd be given an interview once normal processing resumed) on 31st March, we emailed the London embassy two days ago requesting an expedited interview citing the same reason we gave for our conditional expedite (with it being a time sensitive issue it is slightly more urgent now than it was back then)

They emailed back a few hours later with a list of 19 questions to answer (not all were applicable) including why we believe my expedite is in the US national interest.

We responded yesterday afternoon and hope to hear back soon. Fingers crossed for us everyone?! 😊

I'm hoping everyone in here is able to get an appointment as soon as possible 💙

This might be a really dumb question, but case complete means that you got a DQ from NVC, right? I am making myself paranoid because we got DQ on June 2, and got the DQ email, but my husband also uploaded a copy of his previous J visa for when he did an exchange year with his university in the US (which is how we met :)) and it just says "submitted." Is this because the document isn't required for the embassy in London? I just want to make sure that our case actually is complete at NVC (which is hard when we got DQ but case still says at NVC!)
