I cant find my original post in here.. but wanted to update!!!!!

My husbands case was approved for expedite at the Prague embassy on July 2nd. after what felt like the longest 3 weeks of waiting, today we scheduled his interview by calling the embassy...for THIS Thursday!!!!!!!!!! My heart is overflowing with happiness, relief and honestly some disbelief that it is actually our interview time!!! 4 months apart almost to the day...what a way to celebrate that-by receiving a hope of reunion soon!!!

I know how hard it is to wait and not have answers during this bizarre time for immigration and humanity as a whole...but I am still praying and here for everyone who is waiting for their turn!! It will come, and we will all virtually celebrate your victories together!!! Find strength in your relationship and each other, and find ways to communicate and bond with each other while waiting it out..it is all we can do❤️

Good luck to everyone, i will update on Thursday how it goes!!!

That's great news, congratulations! It's so nice to see movement finally at several of the embassies -- looking forward to seeing more and more cases move forward and hopefully those of us waiting get our interviews soon!

You will definitely have to let us know how the interview goes on Thursday!!

Great news for the UK! Meanwhile, today the Dublin Embassy decided to reiterate the same vague language that's been on their site for months.

Q: Is the U.S. Embassy in Dublin closed?

In response to significant worldwide challenges related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Department of State temporarily suspended routine visa services at all U.S. embassies and consulates. Embassies and consulates have canceled all routine immigrant, fiancé(e) and nonimmigrant visa appointments as of March 20, 2020 but will continue to provide emergency and mission-critical visa services as resources and local conditions allow.

We will resume routine visa services as soon as possible but are unable to provide a specific date at this time.

-------------------------------------------------

Ireland has had lower infection numbers than the UK and never fully shut down flights to/from the US so I'm not sure why they are being more mysterious. It's possible they were waiting for the "green list" to come out, but then it got postponed...

For anyone who received expedite:

What did the review of financial documents look like for you at the interview?? Since they were not DQd by NVC, i am of course nervous about this part of the interview. Our lawyer helped us fill the forms and told us what to collect as evidence, support, but I am just wondering if anyone from experience can help ease my nerves :)

Hello

I got approved for expediting my case from nvc on july 17th.

Today I checked my account in CEAC there was a massage saying " appointment has been canceled" but I haven't got any

I already heard here that it happens after your expedite request is approved

But what next?

Does your case show "in transit"? Others reported that the cancellation email gets sent when NVC forwards the case to the embassy.

maybe they're getting ready to send it to the embassy and started "house cleaning" by making sure no pending interview is in the system :)

Give it a few hours (some have waited days but that isn't the norm) and it should change to "in transit"

Mine changed to "in transit" around 10pm BST, and I also got a separate email from NVC to say that they'd sent it off. It was showing as "ready" 4 days later.

Exactly! It’s took 5 days for us and now it’s shows «ready”.

Hello everybody, today I got a notice stating that the local embassy accepted my request to expedite my wife case. Now we just have to wait for embassy to resume visa services. 20200721_065936.thumb.jpg.904d2f29ac7cc176af6413a55afd969a.jpg
