Just called and booked my medical for 31st July!! I explained that I don't have an interview date yet but my case is expedited and showing as In Transit on CEAC,  and I want to make sure I have my medical results in time for my interview so I'm not sat in Administrative Processing. It's very bittersweet because I'm so excited that this is finally happening after so long in this process, but I'm also very sad because I wish more people in this forum could get their cases moving forward again and be able to feel the same excitement as me.

Just want to give a shout out to you for your openness (to sometimes very personal questions) and kindness on this forum. I'm a firm believer in karma and the way you come across suggests there's a reason for your good fortune. Long may it continue

It doesn't always qualify. It honestly depends on the embassy. But as far as wanting to expedite because you miss your spouse, one could argue that that's literally every person in this forum. Most of us haven't seen our spouses (and kids in some instances) in at least 4 months. If everyone got expedited for this reason, it would essentially mean that expediting is useless. That said, if you feel you have a genuine need to expedite, by all means try. Be honest and write the reasons that are affecting you personally and see what they say.

You can try expedited but that isnt one of the reason on USCIS reason to expedited. Every one on this planet can than file expedited.

Hi Daria, can you update your timeline? I see you are asking a lot of questions, with an updated timeline it may benefit you by getting more targeted responses on your country and current step in the process. Most if not all, in this forum are DQ'd and waiting for an interview scheduled. in some cases, people have requested an expedite based on their own personal reasons. Some reason may be accepted by one embassy and not the other. That's why there are varying reasons you see floating around.

Amen I believe it also. That's why I have loved this thread and maintained it for 9 years such positive people going through all manner of life and yet we have a common bond we are all hopelessly and wonderfully in love.

 

People are always blessed on this thread because the kindness they give out to others if nothing more as in listening seems we have been needing that much lately.

Honestly it's the embassy weddings, birthdays, anniversaries we all know Philippines is notorious very very lax expedite approvals it's their prerogative. Others you could be on your deathbed it's not happening. So it's all about your embassy, and a convincing letter of why, timing and embassy workload.
