Can you change your profile fro K1. Sorry you were denied. But the embassy will not approved since they are still closed. No way to approve since you can't even fly out. Heck all the CO's aren't even there at the embassy. Hard to fly in with international flights still not allowed.

no it's all on ceac under Check my Visa Application Status. But until you get interview  it will continue to sat At NVC.

They are asking you to expedite that's the only way they will schedule your interview.

Yes Manilla is one of the few countries you can have medical without interview letter. But I strongly do not recommend that since you have no idea when your interview will be or when you can leave. I would just hold on and wait.

Is she still eligible?  I'm getting ripped off because I'm a PR and not a citizen!  The US, despite the Constitution, is a country of taxation without representation!

Not necessarily automatically changed.  If the visa is issued after the 2 year anniversary, it should automatically change. 

 

If not, it will depend on your POE and what they know and are capable of.  I went through a land POE and CBP said they couldn't change anything (visa issued 2nd week in Mar, entered the day after our 2 year anniversary).  Others who've traveled by air were able to have USCIS change it.  If they ever issue my GC, I will have to file an I-90 and have it changed.

Yes my husband had his Oath just last Wednesday the 8th.

 

And love it you know USA well. I think they weren't thinking right about the stimulus package but you should get it this next go round.

Seems weird you didn't get yours my husband was a PR and the principal filer.

That is excellent news!  Was the ceremony ridiculous?  Hub's was.  People filing in for HOURS.  Can't imagine Judge Hidalgo would approve if it was unchanged!

Yes - I believe it's been discussed in some AOS or EAD threads here. I'm really not a fan of the administration, but saying that they become undocumented due to delayed forms is a bit far of a stretch imho.

 

On a more positive note - he's reversed the student visa decision today. Guess there was too much backlash from his rich friends that benefit from crazy high tuition from foreign students

I hope you're correct with the undocumented part.  Before DH got his citizenship, he had to renew his GC.  They told him it would probably take longer than a year to get a new card, so they put a holographic validity extension sticker on it.  No reason the visa stamps can't be extended in a similar way.  Still though - poor planning!  

 

The ivy leagues and their equivalent counterparts can't operate without the asinine foreign tuition!  I also think it's ridiculous to not allow students studying.  They aren't stealing uni slots from Americans or taking American jobs.  They are just having their money taken with no benefit to their home country!
