ASC Appointment Date:  8/28

ASC Appointment Location: Cleveland, OH

ASC appointment for : I 485 & I 765

I sent my AOS documents on June 15th and received my biometrics appointment letter in the mail yesterday. The case status still shows "Case was received" on the USCIS website.

Do you know anyone who did an early walk-in and successfully had their biometrics done? I know that it was possible pre-COVID, but now I am afraid they will want to limit the number of people at the ASC.

To my understanding they are not allowing early walk-in. The same has been mentioned in their appointment letter also

yea I did and the I485 status changed to " ready to schedule the interview" a week after the appointment.

The funny thing is I found another biometrics appointment letter just for I765 right after I went for the 8.14 one, it was scheduled on 8.24. I showed up for that one too as Emma suggested, while the technician from the ASC told me that I shouldn't have came, but if I ever receive another appointment for I131 I should go there one more time.

That’s great news! Do you have to do the biometrics to get your EAD and AP? Looking at your timeline you have no received these yet!

Guess so...EAD shows that my fingerprint were taken on 8.14 and there is no update for my AP since they received it on 2.26, I have submitted an inquiry about it but no reply yet.

I download the Case Tracker app and it can look up 500 cases' status at the same time, seems like there are many others have their AP and EAD approved recently even though their case numbers are after mine. Also many posts here said that they have those two approved without doing biometrics.

is there anywhere you can check to make sure your local asc is back open? we had a bio appointment scheduled 1 week prior to shut down & haven't heard anything since.
