I sent my I-693 back to USCIS in early March via FedEx and still have not confirmed they have them. I had to log a SR on Jun16th. Still waiting for someone at USCIS to work on the SR as of today......

How was your case now?

Today, I spoke to a T2 officer, she helped to check in the system and said she cannot find a clear answer if the response was recieved. She only found that my case was worked on at Jun 4th. Since my response package should be delivered at Jun 1st, she said they should have the response and forwarded my query to the office where I replied the RFE. She said I should get an email reply within 2 weeks.

My case is still in limbo. It took them over 30 days to assign my SR to an officer and 24 hours to close on the 11th July 2020. I still have not received the update due to my company now changing visa attorneys and cases being migrated.

How did you know your SR was closed? You should get some response, right?

I got Request for initial evidence at early May asking for medical report I-693. We sent back the response and my attoney said they should get it at Jun 1st.

But the case status online is still "Request for Initial Evidence Was Sent". Have anyone faced this before?

I thought it should update to something like your response is recieved or your case is reviewing.

Would you update us what happened eventually? I am in a same boat. They received mine 23 days ago. but have not updated in the system that they received it?!

My PD became current this month - Oct 1. Yesterday, the status changed from "Request for Initial Evidence Was Sent" directly to "Card Was Picked Up By The United States Postal Service".

Gernerally, they don't update online status promptly and acurrately. Just be patient.

I received my medical RFE on Nov 2, responded on Nov 10, and it was delivered by FedEx on Nov 12. TILL TODAY, THE RFE RECIPIENT IS NOT ACKNOWLEDGED!
(It was sent to Overland Park, Ks). I contacted USCIS several times and now I am scheduled to talk with tier 2 and also there is a Service Request pending.
I am worried that the deadline for receiving the RFE as stated in the RFE letter is Jan 28 (next week).
Can those who are in the same boat share their experiences?

You can submit FOIA request to obtain your I-485 and I-693 files. it takes about one month to get files. That's how I found out that they received medical file.

Tell me please when you requested your FOIA file, did they provide absolutely all pages and info or some was redacted/sealed/empty pages because of “privacy”, blablabla

Hi, they provided 14 pages of I-693 and 18 pages of I-485. That way , I find out that interview is waived, since its checked on top of I-485.

Thank you for the replay. Did you have any pages from the request completely blanked like this? BB4BA4E6-5955-4688-BF08-A7AE3EF80547.thumb.png.94b8d3614cff2b084a4dedd3e3ca905b.png
