Hi,

I received a letter dated 6/25 stating that I’ll need to supply an I-693 either at an interview or as an RFE should I not be required to interview.

My question is, does this mean my case is currently being processed and will soon be deliberated on, or is this standard and I’ve still a few more months before my case is reviewed?

Thanks in advance.

It is simply a courtesy letter. My husband got his a month after we filed for AOS. We are still waiting on biometrics, and just saw most of the application support centers closed again.

No, With this Covid19 I don't think anyone has been called for biometric. I got an RFIE for 864 form. I replied to it and the current status is "Response To USCIS' Request For Evidence Was Received". I need my EAD by end of September though.

No EAD card until biometrics are taken,  hopefully you will hear soon

Thank You. Recently, I heard from other forums that EAD has been issued without biometrics. This link also shows some people got it without biometric. I asked one of them in person and he said he hasn't completed biometric.

Had the person filed another immigration form in the past that required biometrics? If that's the case, USCIS most likely used the old biometrics.
